The Goodfellas is my favorite film of all time. It has a bit of everything for me - and is based on a true story.
I love all the gangster (not gangsta) films such as once upon a time in america and goodfellas; but my ultimate indulgence is 'waiting to exhale'......I KNOW!
Supertroopers. I love how they made the cops out to be idiots. The part about the dude pumping more gas then he needed and dumping it into the trashcan just for a free hotdog was hillarious.
Schindler's List - it's the only film that's moved me to tears - and it has some brilliant performances in it.
It thas to be fight club, cool actors (meatloaf and his ***** ****), good story, and brilliant twist.
ive already recomended this movie once today, but im going to do it again. Requiem for a Dream. its so... just amazing, any movie that changes the way you think and feel, is a good movie. this is one of the best.
My favourite is Oscar starring Sylvester Stallone. It's an underrated piece of comedy genius. Close second is Jurassic Park simply because it is brilliant. And then close third is The Fugitive. I find I can watch all of these over and over again and never get bored, even perhaps notice new bits.
My favorite movie would probaly be Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood because it's a great friends movie. It's got beautiful ceinamatography and it takes place in the South, where I'm from. It shows how friendship can prevail through all.
One Flew Over the Cukoos Nest... Just a straight out excellent movie. Great story, casting, acting, etc...
36th Chamber of Shaolin... One of the most influential films ever. Great movie.
Stand By Me... Great film (based off Stephen King's The Body) about death and friendship.

mine is constentine because its very intence and its a film you can get into, it has meaning and seriousness to it, to most films, its something you can really get into, plus keano reeves plays the part brilliantly
Modern Times(1936). It says a lot about living, and facing problems. Its B&W, and its almost entirely silent. Its a drama, with a happy ending.
Easy, Fight Club. (it's actually on right now)
Because the first time I saw it, it absolutely blew my mind, and every time I watch it I notice something new.
Princess Bride - Cult classic - Drama.
I love this movie due to the story line. I first watched it when I was a kid and fell in love.
Forbidden Planet. I liked it because it was a good classic 1950's science fiction film, and in colour.
my all time favourite has to be HAIR the 1970's original version
its a musical kind of movie with great songs, the story line is great too and the end... i cry every time

And Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are so good at being Bill & Ted! Other favorites are George Carlin as Rufus, and William Sadler as the Grim Reaper!
