Smallville has changed the comic book story of Clark/Superman a lot. In the comics, Lana and Clark never did get together. In fact he wasn't that torn up over Lana. They drifted apart as high school sweethearts tend to do and he winds up marrying Lois Lane.
In the comics, he goes away to the fortress of solitude after Pa Kent dies and does not return to Smallville but goes to Metropolis, where he meets Lois for the first time.
Like I said they have made a lot of changes, but I like them.
It's my must see TV series.

The season ender hasn't revealed it yet. We all know Clark belongs to Lois. That's how it is.....but l'm not sure if they'll change it.
