What is your biggest movie disappointment?!

Question: The Star Wars prequels. George Lucas should stick to plotting and hire others to do the actual writing and directing: ESB and RotJ were VASTLY superior to Episode IV, except in the storyline itself.

And that way we could have reasonably expected to see the Final Trilogy... but now since he's at the helm, we never will! Selfish bastard.

Superman Returns, god awful.
alexander
last action hero
Attack of the killer tomatoes.
The lastest one was "Stardust"
I LOVVEEED the book...thought the movie was blech.
X-Men 3... it never happened... it was all a dream!

And every installment of the Matrix except the first one!
"Moulin Rouge." My boyfriend and I thought it totally sucked. We couldn't believe how bad it was after everyone telling us it was great.
Wild Hogs Nice try but not very funny
Corpse Bride.

I will always remember the sheer disapointment.

I was so exited waiting for it because it was supposed to be film of the year.

It was so unbelieveably crap, I will never watch it again.
spiderman 3
I have loads but the one I can think of now at the top of my head is Star Wars Episode II: The Attack Of The Clones.

George should have stuck with how he made the original trilogy in my opinion, where the stories flowed better and there wasn't too much CGI, since CGI wasn't around back then.
Jurassic Park (I read the book first - big mistake)
The Good Shepard. I couldn't stay awake. I was siked, looking at the list of actors (Robert DeNiro, Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie, etc) , but was really bored watching it.
X-3 Everyone freaking dies
The Harry Potter series. As a book purest I can't stand the movies and the changes they made.
Mr. Woodcock...

Billy Bob is the man, but that movie sucked.
I will probably get yelled at but it would be The Pursuit of Happyness----I think that they should have given more to the character Will Smith portrayed. It left me with to many questions for me
Resident Evil 3. I don't think it was a total disappointment, but I thought it could've been better. I think Resident Evil 2 is better than all three so far.
The Wicker man with Nicolas Cage. What a stinker.
Norbit. Not even a little bit funny. I also thought Blades of Glory sucked.
My biggest disappointment in the past few years was "Superman Returns". It isn't a horrible film (it's pretty bad, however) but it is extremely disappointing considering what it could have been. Bryan Singer has never read a Superman comic, not one issue over the nearly 70-year history of the character. Instead, he based his film on the mega-overrated 1978 film and the result is more or less a tribute to someone else's (poor) film instead of a new track for the character which took cues from the great comic history. He also hired Routh not because he was a good actor but because he could do a good Reeve impersonation. He wasn't playing Superman; he was playing Reeve playing Superman. What a disappointment.
Resident Evil: Extinction. The zombies weren't much of a major factor. The plot focused too much on the main antagonist Alice. The pacing was VERY slow. It was TOO SCI-FI for its own good. You'll hate the ending.
My greatest movie dissappointment is when, at the end of The Princess Bride, Anigo Montoya says "I want my father back, you son of a b_tch." That ruined the whole movie because there was no swearing in the film until then and there was no need to put it.
Spiderman 3

xmen; went with my 10yr son; he wanted to leave; early it was so bad.
I have to say.
The Little House Of Horrors.
The original and the remake
The fact they never made Ghostbusters III to complete the trilogy
The X-men movie
Before it came out I was an avid reader and had a gigantic collection of the comics since the beginning and all the changes through the decades, and the movie pretty much stuck to none of it and had awful casting (except for Hugh Jackman) and just suck suck sucked. I didn't watch 2 or 3 because the first one was so terrible. I guess if you never read the comics the movie would have been okay, but for me as a huge fan it was a huge disappointment.
"The Unforgiven" Clint Eastwood's worst movie ever!

"Saving Private Ryan" An OK war pictire, but best picture??? Someone must have seen a different movie!

"Titanic" Technical wonder, but please! Totally predictable (the boat sank!!!!) And the worst acting! What a s(t)inker!

"Gladiator" A warmed-over Steve Reeves movie! (George Reeves's brother; went to Italy in the 50's and made a bunch of Hercules movies.)
