The Butterfly Effect: Excellent movie, probably Ashton's best, i loved the plot and performances, not a masterpiece, but a very good movie.

Stand By Me: Timeless classic, one of the best movies of the 80's, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, Wil Wheaton and Jerry O'Connell all gave brilliant performances, the movie hits brilliantly of the chord of friendship, and "being there" for your friends.

Without a Paddle: I really enjoyed this movie, i love those warm "friendship reunion" movies, this movie had some hilarious scenes ad genuine acting.

Riding in Cars with Boys: sorry, i haven't seen this one.

Overall: each one of them has its own style, but Stand By Me wins by a mile.
