I dont remember when it came out...but it was in August.
Well school is over and its summer time. And its the end of their Jr year. Nobody wants to get a job but they all know they have to. Sharpey and Ryan's parents own a country club, so Sharpey gets the boss of the place to call Troy so that he will work there. Troy will only work there if everyone of his friends can too. So the whol WildCats crew is working at the country club. At this point, Troy and Gabreillea are dating. Well Sharpey is getting Troy all these raises and oppertunitie to hang out with a pro basketball team. Troy starts to change and looses all his friends and everything. Then in the song Bet One It, Troy realizes whats going on with him and he changes back to the old Troy. Then all the people are friends again and they all forgive Troy.
Thats all I can tell you without spoiling the whole movie for you and others who havent seen it. But (like Zac said) theres like a love "square" between Troy-Sharpey-Gabriella-and Ryan. Also theres alot of drama between Troy and Gabreiell and the other WildCats.
You should see it really soon. Its a really good movie. But like I always say....the seconds arent as good as the firsts. BUt its still a really good movie!
August 17th
Troy, Gabriella and the gang go to work at Sharpey's country club at which Sharpey only wanted Troy to work there but Troy insists his friends go to work there too. Sharpey gets pissed. And tries to bribe Troy by giving him gift after gift trying to persuade him to perform with her in the country club's talent show. Ryan realizes that people see him as Sharpey's sidekick so decides to get his own personality by helping Gabriella and the rest with the talent show to beat Troy and Sharpey. Sharpey's bribes start distancing Troy from Gaby and his friends.
Its cheesy. Thats the one thing I hate the most about movies so its cheesy, predictable and unoriginal. Its not painful but my hate for Zac Efron and Corbin Bleu kinda ruin it but I like the rest of the cast. I would have given it 3 out of 10 stars, but seeing Zac Efron's musical number "Bet on it" where he pranced and danced like a girl was priceless (4.2 out of 10)
