I've forgotten the name of a film.?!
Question: Hi, I saw a film about 8-10 years ago and cannot remember the name of it. It's about a married couple in America, they have a lovely home by the beach, a nice Yacht, nice friends, he's successful etc etc. To all apperances the ideal couple. But at home he beats her up for the slightest reason, ie the towels in the bathroom aren't exactly squared off, or the labels on tinned food in the kitchen cuboard aren't all facing the same way. Eventually she kills him (a Yachting accident the police believed), so just when she's adjusted to her new life without this tyrant he turns up again, she can't be sure it's him. Anyway, what's the name of this film? I'd love to watch it again.

The wife didn't kill the husband. She was pretending to be drowned when they both went for a sail in the middle of a sea. Her husband thought she couldn't swim, but she had taken a swimming lesson the whole time behind his back and had already planned to fake her death in order to escape his abusive husband and marriage.

Mr Brady was a closet wife beater. After she knocks him off on the yacht 'six is enough' he 'returns' however it's actually Alice the house-keeper disquised as him...she was always a little 'mannish' in appearance but pulls off character rather well

good film--loved the music in the film --Brown eyed girl---and also the music he loved and she hated which was chilling near the end when she switched on her record player and Berlioz was playing --and she went to her cupboard and all the tins were straight--
