because Monday is the first day of the week and the end of the weekend, and people don't really pay attention this day so they have them on Tuesday so people will have time to actually know it is out and then go get it!

Who cares what day they are released? They are always cheeper on release day! Hell my local Best Buy and Circut city expect me on Tuesday! They even ask about my family i'm there so often! Everything has to have a day to come out. If it were Monday everyone would ask "Why are the new DVD's comming out on Monday?"
