El Topo. A film that will really make you wonder 'what the @#?@'

Follow it up with The Holy Mountain, both from the same director Alejandro Jodorowsk
If you like to be suprized go see Halloween by Rob Zombie it is f**cking good, he did a good job on this move you will love it.
Vanilla Sky starring Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz and Penelope Cruz is a pretty random and difficult to follow film, still not exactly sure what happened in that film.

Beetlejuice with Alec Baldwin is another strange film that did manage to recieve a number of awards including an oscar.

Black Sheep is the most random film that i have ever seen and it takes so seeing to believe the actual storyline! If you like 'what the **** films' then you should this!
yea theres loads of films like that

abbot and costello jack and the beanstalk
Little Miss Sunshine, Waking Ned Devine, Danny Deckchair, The Sixth Sense, Frequency and The Village maybe could be examples. Good luck (hope you find some good films).
I recommend:
- Being John Malkovich
- Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
- Butterfly Effect
- De Ja Vu ~ with Denzel Washington
Tideland
without question - Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive.
"Forbidden Zone" - they don't get more strange and original than that.
We are not able to divulge this information, but I certainly hope you have seen a few of mine.
Try Clockwork Orange - its all over the place.

Or Oranges are not the Only Fruit, very different.
David Lynch stuff: Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire, Lost Highway, Blue Velvet, Fire Walk With Me

Magnolia

The Usual Suspects

House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects

Donnie Darko

American Psycho
I go for Primer and Brick
Definitely Mulholand Drive, bound to have you saying " What the ****", numerous times throughout the movie! Plus, its a terrific film!
