Need name of the 70's movie with 3 little ugly guy's that live under the!

Question: There was a made for tv movie made in 1973 called "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark", starring Kim Darby. In it a young couple moves into an old house and the wife is slowly terrorized and stalked by three evil little demons or goblins that live under the house in a cavern or pit. They want her to become one of them, by some unknown process or metamorphosis. Late one night when she is all alone, the demons drug her with sleeping pills that her husband, fearing she was cracking under stress, had gotten her. Lethargic and drowsy, she is attacked and bound by these demon-like jermlaine, and dragged to the old fireplace where there is a hole that drops down into the chasm. Made aware by the old caretaker (played by William Demerest who also played Uncle Charlie on My Three Sons) that something is amiss, her husband rushes home but gets there just in time to hear her final scream as she drops through the hole. The final shot of the movie is an outside view of the house at night, and the little crawlspace gate slowly opening, and you here the demons talking to the wife who is soothing them and calming them as one of their own - kinda like a twisted version of Wendy and the Lost Boys.

Children Under The Stairs
'people under the stairs' came out in the early 90's, i remember b/c I actually went to the movie theather to see it w/a bunch of friends. I was unaware if that was a remake from the 70's, if so, I never heard of it being from the 70's.
