What is the scariest movie ever?!

Question:

What is the scariest movie ever?

I have seen like every scary movie and none of them seem scary anymore.

Answers: The scariest movie i have seen in a very long time would have to be... Masters of Horror- We All Scream For Ice Cream. Everything about this movie is creepy in away from the killer to the theme music to the plot to bizarre deaths. They don't...we're mostly desensitized nowadays. Plus, today's movies mostly depend on the 'gross-out' factor. 'The Exorcist' scared the hell outta me though. Growing up with a religious background, you're raised that there's no monsters, ghosts, etc. but the devil is real. Plus, it's a little innocent girl who's possessed, it's not some 'born-evil' kid. That movie to this day is the only one that really actually creeped me out. wow tough question....um................... , um i havent seen scary movies that scared me very much but it would be..... the exorcist: the beggining or the original exorcist Scary movie 2 have you seen the beginning! My husband said The Exorcist gave him nightmares for a week. I don't care for scary movies but the scariest movies I've ever seen were Misery and Carrie. I don't watch "slasher" movies as they're just too gross for me. The Exorcist scared the crap out of me when I was younger, but my son thinks its funny now...Scary movies now make ME laugh..Go figure...... The omen (remake) The Exorcist ~ bar NONE

Exorcism of Emily Rose sent chills up my spine
The Ring, The Grudge & Grudge2 were really creepy

House on Haunted Hill had some moments, but not terrifying.
Pulse & White Noise had potential, but again failed to capture
the sheer terror that it could have been. as totally lame as this sound i can't watch final destination 3
its just that too intense for me Have you seen Decent? It is about some girls exploring caves, it is rather bone chilling. It has been so long since I have seen a scary movie. Maybe when I was really young and watched the Twlight Zone, I remember one episode that really scared me. John Carpenter's the thing starring Kurt Russell scared the pee out of me! Its just all that imagination that went into it! I had problems sleeping that night and eventually locked my dog in the bathroom! lol I watched it once and won't watch it again! None of the new ones scare me... although the Scream trilogy is always good for a few laughs!
