I believe the male lead was Charlston Heston an it was done either in the late 50s or early 60s an I feel like it was black and white but I could be wrong there. I can't remember who the female lead was.

Anyway, the story line is about a plantation owner in South America and the area is taken over by solider ants that analiate everthing in their path. If anyone knows the name of this movie I would apprecite the info!

Answers: It sounds like The Naked Jungle. The Naked Jungle (1954) Bummer, I remember the movie, but not the name -- sorry It was on Channel 5 a few months ago. The Naked Jungle - marabunta ants! The female lead was Eleanor Parker and there was a young William Conrad in it too! lol:-D
