Why does Otis ( Movie -> Barnyard) have an Udder ?

I understand that they could not show, what an steer really have down there ...but why an Udder , instead of leaving it blank (like they did with Ken ; Barbie's Ex ) ?

He was just 'holding it' for his friend cuz they like to confuse and mislead kids I thought the same thing when i watched the movie but i guess they didn't leave it blank was bcause they may have wanted to fill up the characters with other things instead of just a plan cow
