The Day After Tomorrow Omega Man with Heston. A little dated but great. It is based on the book "I am Legend" and 28 Days Later is a rip off of it. Funny thing is that I am Legend is coming out starring Will Smith in a little while. Testament (1983) Jane Alexander, William Devane, ( a really young Lukas Haas, Kevin Costner (in one of his first roles, I believe. Played a minor role.)
The Day After (1983)Jason Robards, Steve Guttenberg, John Lithgow. I would still say that the Mad Max trilogy is one of the great post-apocalyptic classics. That trilogy spawned a hundred rip-offs Lol hove about Resident Evil: Apolcalypse
or the new one resident evil: Extinction "On the Beach" 1959. Gregory Peck, Ava Gardner, Fred Astaire, Anthony Perkins
Great movie.
