I'm watching the movie and I was wondering about that. Are the actual actors singing, or are they just lip syncing or something?
Answers: as someone old enough to have seen the blues brothers perform in concert before the movie came out, i can asssure you that they are performing their own parts. the rest of the singers in that movie also performed their own stints, by the way. Yeah it is them. Yes they do. The Blues Brothers Band still tours but now with Jim Belushi. Yes they did the singing in the movie. Yes that is them singing because they did the same song on the old Saturday night live show...
