Movie success is mostly about the money ?!

Question:

Movie success is mostly about the money ?

If hollywood directors and everybody wants
to make a film by a story written by anybody
who's a normal person,
about action SF film like Blade,Spiderman
and will not mind of the cost,
would it success ?

Wouldn't many ordinary people success
without the matter of the money cost ?

Answers: "Clerks" by Kevin Smith was about as low budget as it gets... didnt even shoot it in color....turns out to be very successful. It also lays ground for a whole new genre of movies.

I think Indi films are some of the best works in movies. Creative and interesting without all the hype, special effects, or big names. As long as its a good story I dont care. There have been inexpensive films made by ordinary people that have been successful. A few examples would be El Mariachi, The Brothers McMullen, and The Blair Witch Project. A well told story will find an audience. it depends on how good the script is look at spike lee first movie it really didn't cost him much to make that movie and it turns out he got paid big time off that movie she's gotta have it.* Clerks, Momento and Reservoir Dogs are also good examples of good films made on relatively low budgets.

But in hollywood, it seems, the almighty dollar does rule. The fact that Titantic won best picture at the Oscars is one example of that. Sure, the computer generated ship was amazing, but the script was ridiculous and pure fluff.
Personally, I love to see projected blockbusters fail. Hollywood has been making the same movies over and over again for years, and ripping off movie ideas from other countries, giving them no credit.
