If Buzz Lightyear doesn't know he's a toy why does he stop talking when humans are around?
Answers: Thats a damn good question!!! one i've never thought about nor can i think of an answer.. you get a star i dunno, maby he get's scared and plays dead ( he may think the humans are giant aliens since he thinks he's in another planet ) I'm going to have to go with the fact that because they're much bigger, they could be aliens or even overseers to the other aliens to the planet he's on (Andy's other toys) and he doesn't want to alert them that he's more intelligent than he appears! Because, Buzz Lightyear was taught by Star Command to stay perfectly still in the precence of true masters, being the humans. It's a good question but what made you think about it right now?? ..lol.. xx I tell you what made him think about it.... It was a question originally asked by the older dopey son (in the BT adverts now) in a BBC1 show called 'My Family' back in the late 90's.
How do I know? I used the same question myself to impress a lady at the time !! Buzz thinks he's on a different planet and wants to be respectful of it's people and their culture. When he sees that everybody else remains still in the presence of humans he does the same in order to adapt and fit in.
