Ok my memory is not that good on it but i remember some parts in the movie
one part is there is this kid, and he is on road trip with his family. He is like sick or something and he says to his parents " i dont feel so good!" and i dunno plays with his hands or something, then his parents turn around and they are like changed into these white haired monsters and they start eating his guts or soemthing...you see them grabing at his stomach and picking some green stuff green gooey stuff..i think the kid was hallucinating
there is another scene were this guy goes into this house, and he meets this woman who is up on a stair case, and she starts talking about some tea that when you drink it your turn into a White haired monster
i dunno maybe this movie was a dream, lol but i just have the memory of those 2 scenes

The green goo and ordinary people turning into monsters when they eat/drink something would fit. The scenes you describe sound familiar, but not exactly.
Maybe you're mixing several movies up. woah thats weird... Amazing Stories 2 Not an idea. mmmmmmmm - sounds like you need to get thing in perspective. Night of the zombies sounds appropriate.
