Question:
POTC 2 -- I don't understand Will Turner's attitude? (spoilers)?
I just finished Dead Man's Chest for the first time last night, so perhaps it'd merit a second or third viewing before I could figure this out on my own.. maybe I missed something.
So Will sees Elizabeth kissing Jack. His expression is obviously devastated. She supposedly did it to trick him and shackle him to the ship (I'm sure there was feeling behind it though).
So why is Will so enthusiastic at the end about going to world's end to save Jack? He didn't say a word to Elizabeth about what he saw? Is this elaborated on further in the 3rd one? If so, I don't really want any details, just a simple yes or no will do, or a vague answer. All I'm thinking is.. if I was Will and I was set to marry Elizabeth, and saw what he saw, I'd be LIVID. Especially afer everything they've all been through together.. just seeing them kiss, and it being unexplained.. his enthusiastic attitude toward risking his life again just to save Jack doesn't sit well with me. All sarcasm aside, I was just inquiring as to whether or not I may have missed something. They're usually very thorough in these films. It was a little confusing, is all. Sorry if I disturbed you with my question.

Sorry if I disturbed you with my question. When Will was trapped on the Flying Dutchman, he promised his dad he would comeback and rescue his cursed father from his fate. Will could only do this with a fast ship and some one who could out wit Davy Jones. That would be Jack Sparrow and the Black Pearl. When Jack and the Pearl were lost to the Kraken, Will lost hope of rescuing his father.. When asked if he would brave Worlds End to find Jack and the Pearl, Will's hope was renewed....Savvy??? Its just a movie/book. God. Hmmm, I never thought of that, I guess he just likes Jack Will and Liz have big arguments in the 3rd movie. you will be satisfied (at least a little).
I will not defend Will, because I really don't like him at all. :p
