SPIDERMAN 3 was way too long and a let down from the previous Spiderman movies.
PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 3 was a way too long and a disappointment for me because I am a big fan of POTC1 and 2.
MIAMI VICE was one of the BIGGEST LET DOWNS EVER!!! The trailer showed us shooting, explosions and car chases and we only got a tiny bit of that and most of it we had already seen in the trailer!
And yeah there has been sooo many let downs in movies we are usually tricked by the amount of advertising they put into it. Source(s):
Oh yeah and DUMBER DUMBERER or what ever you call the second Dumb & Dumber was just a waste of time and money. of course yeah heaps of times......... The latest rocky movie. Yes.
Example #1: Harry Potter YUP, many times...guess the hype around a movie makes people more interested in watching it,only to find that it's not as interesting as it looks... yes every movie that The Rock stars in .His movies are so bad that you can't even find them on bootleg. Of course. The third Austin Powers film was SUCH a letdown for me. I had loved the first two films and looked forward to the third for a year, and just didn't like it at all. Wasn't worth it at all. the quality of a movie can be judged from the amount of money spent advertising it. ie the more spent on telling you how good it is the less is spent on actually making a good movie Yea, The Village
STUPID! STUPID! STUPID! Actually Pirates 2 and 3 were disappointments, Mission Impossible 3, Shrek 3, babel, pan's labyrinth.
I was lead to expect ZOWIE WOWIE! and got, ehhhhhhhhhhhhh........... Stardust was a big letdown for me.
The story line was not like it was portrayed in the teasers. The new Halloween really let me down. It was gory but not scary. The only reason a person would jump was because they let the music get very low and then crank it at the "jump point". I was very disappointed. I don't know that all hyped movies are bad, but I do know that most mainstream cinema is crap and they do have the largest ad budgets. Yes. I heard that Superbad was the funniest movie of the year, while I really didn't expect the funniest movie of the year I did expect to laugh more than once... i swear people have no taste.
all of those movies were good except the Village.
My biggest hater was Transformers.
It looked so good in the previews.
I give it a 5 our out of 10 stars.
You ask why?
because for the first hour it was boring as hell. Yeah like Superman Returns and all of Harry Potter movies...
Oh, Alexander was also a major let down. So sorry I wasted my money on it. Yes!! The movie "Captivity" I wanted so much more from it. I took a friend and was like"This will be good, watch" and I was so let down, I felt stupid.
I hate movies that make you feel stupid, movies shouldn't do that. I didn't pay to feel dumb, I can watch Frasier for free :-p
