I think he did a superb job of interpreting a character that one of his successors simply walked through most of the time. There are so many reasons: the voice, the looks, the athleticism, the fierocity, simply everything!

I didn't think anyone could rank lower than Roger Moore. Now they have a Bond I can barely stand to look at! I'm so tired of unattractive actors being popular: Daniel Craig, the Wahlbergs, Matt Damon, Kevin Spacey, Joaquin Phoenix and the like. I'm sure someone on this list is someone's dream guy; they're simply not what I want to look at. roger moore was good
