Need help putting a title to this movie/tv movie - think alice in wonderland?
Years ago when I was about 8 years old.. Late on tv one night was this very disturbing and twisted version of Alice in wonderland but it was so .. .. Enticing..very depressing etc. I can't be of much help as I am not sure if it was a tv movie or a real movie but anyways.. It seemed old [before the 90's at least]
I remember a scene almost perfectly.. When Alice is falling down the hole, the wall is lined with jars and bottles full of human body parts..nails.. broken glass and other twisted things...
I have not been able to figure out the title to this twisted version of Alice in wonderland but I've been really interested in it.
I'm not holding my breath that someone can help me out here.. But I do wish to really to find out more about that movie I saw almost 13 years ago...
The movie may or may not be in colour.. I think my tv set back then was black and white. And I'm not sure if the movie was silent.. It was so long ago..

This was a PBS presentation starring Kate Burton as Alice and her father, actor Richard Burton, as the Knight. They took a less "kiddish" approach, with costumes and sets based on art in early editions.
