it's a movie i always wanted to get round to seeing..... watched it this afternoon....it was RUBBISH.... anyone else agree?
Answers: a beautiful illustration of small town life & the strong relationships women can have.....maybe you're not used to movies that deal with reality & real human emotions... I can see someone young not liking it....maybe you're just too cynical....... I agree. My mum loves it though!! No way it was an excellent movie . I loved it . I loved all the women in the movie and it was so cool . good luck . It's of it's time. I loved it when I was 18 years or so ago, perhaps if I saw it for the first time now I'd think differently. Had a good cast Dolly Parton is good! and ??? It is sad but i thought it was good. I think that film is racist in many ways. no way i love that film i've had it for years & i've not long watched it again steel magnolias is a great film, i love it and i never get tired of watching it!
