In Pride & Prejudice, why did Mr. Darcy pay for Mr. Wickham to get married?!

Question:

In Pride & Prejudice, why did Mr. Darcy pay for Mr. Wickham to get married?

How come Mr. Darcy paid for Elizabeth's sister to marry Mr. Wickham? Didn't Mr. Wickham always just have evil intentions towards people? How come he would let Elizabeth's sister marry someone like that?

Answers: he did it to help Liz and her family and to save their reputation. Also if he had not done that it would have made it difficult for them to marry. he did it because of his love for elizabeth...he loved her so deeply and truly that he wnted to do anything possible to be with her...and he knew that the only way that he could find elizabeth's sister and get her in touch with her family was to marry her with m.wickham and as the only way to do that was to pay for their marriage and to agree to pay mr.wickham a large ammount of money every month he did it...and when she found out about it she appreciated it along with the other things that he did for her and she realised that she loved him too...it's such a sweet movie...one of my favorites...
