any excuse to stuff your face and people do cos of all the nice food they tempt you with before you go in...
mm nachos and cheese Because theyre hungry? Or because they just cant resist the lure of grossly overpriced sweets and popcorn that tastes like cardboard. Pass but i know its annoying when ya sit down and you hear the crunching of the popcorn as it sticks to ya bum from the chair! I don't know but you just got to have popcorn or a hotdog. because they are hungry and neetd to eat up IT BRINGS THAT EMPTY BOREDOM TO LIGHT. i usely buy a drink, and i takes some sweeties in with me, or sometimes out of the blue i would buy popcorn and a drink,
i dont mind hearing people eating in the cinema, its the talking, or txting i hate, i think its because you have the sweey counters before you go to the cinema and thye plice them and make them really noticeable also there are adverts in the cinema before! and its quite temping but personally idont buy food frm the cinema ill get it cheaper somewhere else if i feel like eating(plus it wastes time while waiting for adverts to finsih!) There's no need - its just a custom. DONT KNOW BUT ITS ANNOYING, TRYING TO WATCH A FILM AND EVERYONES RUSTLING PACKETS!!!! Cinemas I've been to in France, nobody eats! Maybe we're conditioned to? After all, I can do other things for two hours without having to eat. But the snacking is now considered part of the movies going experience, so we do it. Cause it's common knowledge that people buys snacks at the movies. HOWEVER, your real question should be, why the hell do people sneak in burgers, pizza, beer etc. into a movie theater. There's a REAL question. I never do. I eat before or after a movie. Concession stands have nothing I want to eat. I am a bodybuilder-powerlifter, so I do not eat much junk. Some repertory theaters here in San Francisco have allowed people to bring in outside food and drinks. My pal Tom once brought a whole chicken, a loaf of bread and a case of beer to the Pagoda Palace Theater. I ate nothing and drank little, because I wanted to see the movies, not run to the restroom every few minutes, as Tom and Roberto did. I'd say out of habit. People love movies, and they love food...the combination of the two makes for a great evening!! A friend of mine: "because for me eating at cinemas while i'm watching movies is relaxing and funny"
me:" i think that eating at cinemas is not fine, because you don't focus on what you're watching carefully and so you will not enjoy the film" well, what do you want to do in the cinema beside watching it or having a romance with your partner? Well we usually have ice cream its sort of like our pudding after we've just eaten out.
