Hey I have to play an american in a short film im in.
I am 16 and have a slightly husky voice so i thought her voice would be a good one to use to learn an accent (and no, no tips on how to be like her my character is not mirroring hers at all luckily)
Any sites or tips on how she speaks (thinking especially of Mean Girls)
Also does anyone know from where in America her accent is from.

Answers: She is from Long Island, I think the town was Great Neck or something to that effect. I have no clue of where she′s from but I guess from the south so she must have a southern accent.
