Lord Voldemort or Darth Vader: which villain was more iconic and better?
Answers:
I think that Darth Vader is a much better person. He turned evil for love, which shows he does love, whereas Voldemort was always evil, and he didn't know how to love. Both characters are unique in their own way, but I really like Voldemort's story better. Prehaps its just because JKR goes into detail about his younger self, etc.
Also, we know that Darth Vader was good (and he became good once again). That makes him seem more of a troubled soul than an evil villian, if you get what I'm saying.
Both villians are very well known, even by kids who haven't seen the movies or read the books.
