Is there any way that I can submit movie ideas?

I really think that some book series would make GREAT movies ideas! Is there a way that I can submit them to someone so they can think about making it into a movie?

There are plenty of sites online that deal with submission of ideas. If you have an idea, dont give it to someone else. Develop the complete idea and submit it as your property. What you should do is write a "Treatment." Basically that is a summary of the story you want to adapt for a movie. It can be one page, ten pages or fifty pages, as long as it tells the basic story and fleshes out the important characters.

Remember, whey you adapt a book to film, you cant show every word on every page. You need to pick out the parts of the story you want to tell. When you have finished, you can copyright your treatment or register it with the Writer's Guild to protect yourself. THEN you can look around to see if you can get someone to read your stuff. It's a long shot, but ya never know.
