It sounds interesting, but apparently it's gone over budget and the shooting is running overtime.

Accoding to www.imdb.com, the film "Babylon A.D." starring Vin Deisel as the Veteran-turned-mercenary, Thoorop, who takes the high-risk job of escorting a woman from Russia to China. Little does he know that she is host to an organism that a cult wants to harvest in order to produce a genetically modified Messiah. The film also stars Michelle Yeoh, Gérard Depardieu, Charlotte Rampling, and Mark Strong. Its status has been updated as in post-procdution meaning the principle shooting for the film has been completed and that the filmmakers are editing, adding special effects, and extra things to make a full movie. It lists its release date as February 28, 2008. And its not suprising at all that this movie has gone over budget, it sounds extravagent and with Vin Deseil there must be alot of action, etc. so no big surprise.
