Tell me the ending of the movie Monster-in-Law.?

I want to know if the mother got what's coming to her in the end. Winner gets 10 points!!

Depends on how you look at it.

She got confronted by her own mother-in-law which made Charlie and Viola realize that they are just reliving the past and that it was never going to end unless they ended it.

After which Charlie decides it's not worth getting married if it meant dealing with Viola, Then after Viola convinced Charlie that it was never about her, but Viola's relationship with her son, Charlie makes her promise to be part of their life - if she can keep boundaries.

I think it's a little far fetched, but I think that in order for Viola to really "get what was coming to her in the end" - her son should have found out what was going on, and chosen Charlie over her.
