Anyone whose seen HARRY POTTER 5, does Petunia have her strange awareness of some parts of the magical world?

I dont care, spoil it for me! if that seen scene is in the movie -yay! then I will be satisfied! Everyones keeps praising Umby, Bella, Luna, the kiss, the fireworks, the BIG fight - that all great that its all in there. but what about the "Peck of Owls" chapter, did Yates put that in there? does Vernon ask about voldy and dementors, does Petunia surprise us with her hidden knowledge, do owls fly in constenely? the Dursleys couldnt have been in there for nothing!!! I love that scene in the book. does petunia begin casting shifty looks when Harry mentions dementors, does she gasp suddenly? anything small that is derived from the books?

Well I'm XTREMELY saddened to hear this. Yates could have let a 10 seconds in like: Harry saying "it was the dementors-" Vernon cutting in "I don't want to hear any rubbish!" at the word of dementors it shows a close up of Petunia looking suddenly shifty lip-sinking "dementors" under her breathe. He could have done it, but I guess not.

Nope. Harry only gets one owl that night? Petunia doesn't really say anything and then they take Dudly to the hospital and while they are gone the order comes and gets Harry.
It was one of the many scenes they butchered. Plus Petunia was dressed in this tiny little dress. Something the real Petunia would been scandalized by.
