Harry Potter! Do I have a right to be upset?!

Question:

Harry Potter! Do I have a right to be upset?

I have taken my little sister to see Harry Potter since the first one came out seven years ago. My sister wasn't able to go this year. I asked my fiance if he would go see it with me this afternoon and he basically said no. I don't want to force him to go with me, but I really want to see it. What's bothering me is that he just flat out said that he won't go with me. I watch countless hours of sports with him and do it without saying a word because I know he enjoys it. I hardly ever ask him to do anything for me, and the one time I do he tells me he doesn't want to. He knows that it means a lot to me yet he just doesn't care. Should I just let it go and see the movie some other time/by myself or do I have a justifiable reason to be a little upset? I'm not pissed off or anything - just a little hurt that he wouldn't step up when he knows that this would mean a lot to me.

Answers:

i think you have a right to be upset. you watch sports with him and suck it up, so he should be just as kind and go see it with you. talk to him about because marriage is not a one-sided relationship, he has to sacrifice for you as well.
