1st: harry learns he is a wizard he goes to Hogwarts makes friends with ron weasley and hermione granger battles a troll saves the sorcers stone (lets you live forver) from voldemort who is immortal and living in the back of professor quirrel's head quirrel is a defense against the dark arts teacher
2nd harry and ron can't get throguh the barrier of platform nine and 3 quarters so they take ron's dad's flying car to hogwarts they almost get expelled and the car gets totalled by the weeping willow a viscous tree at hogwarts mudbloods begin to get turned to stone by a mysterious creature hermione creates a ployjuice potion that lets people turn into other ppl. harry and ron turn into slytherins because they suspect that draco malfoy is the monster or his father. hermione gets turned into a cat and must go to the hospital wing. ginny ron's sister disapears into the chamber of secrets (no one knows what it is) harry discovers the location of the chamber by using parseltongue (snake language) ron and him and hermione and lockhart go down harry battles a giant snake he wins and saves ginny he learns voldemort was tom marvolo riddle he learns ginny was taken into the chamber by tom riddle becuz she had been writing in tom's diary.
3rd harry spends the whole book worrying about sirius black this man who was beliveved to have been in league with voldemort and killed 13 ppl. scabbers ron's rat turns out to be peter pettigrew who's been hiding from sirius and framed sirius harry becomes friends with sirius and learns he is his godfather and also throughout the book harry learns to repel a dementor with a patronus.
4th 2 other schools come to hogwarts to host the triwizard tournament there's 4 contestants cedric diggory harry potter fleur delacour and viktor krum they go through 3 tasks the third cedric and harry tie it they touch the triwizard cup in the middle of the maze (the maze was the 3rd task) it transports them to a cementery where voldemort is voldemort kills cedric, before that peter prettigrew ressurects voldemort to human form in front of harry with some of harry's blood harry and voldemort try and fight but there wands connect and all the ppl voldemorts ever killed come from harry's wand after the connection breaks harry grabs the triwizard cup and is transported back to hogwarts he tells dumbledore and moody a teacher at that schoool is revealed to be a follower of voledmort who had trapped moody in his trunk and been drinking polyjuice potion to look like moody. that is it i suggest retning the movies and wathcing them in order or reading the books they may be long but there worth it. i spent a LONG time on this answer i hope you find it useful.
