The writing in spanish at the end of the movie "21 Grams"?!

Question:

The writing in spanish at the end of the movie "21 Grams"?

What does the writing mean at the end of "21 Grams"? Its in spanish so I cant understand it. Its at the end of the movie just before the credits.

Answers:

The Spanish-language dedication to María Eladia at the end, "pues cuando ardió la pérdida, reverdecieron sus maizales," translates to "for when the loss burned, their cornfields became green again."

It's an awesome quote if you think about what good and new experiences people can have after a monumental loss. It also goes perfectly with the film.
