In Scream 1 there is a part where the principal is about to get killed and he hears a knock at the door. When he goes to check there's Freddy Kruger standing there mopping and he say's "You call me?" The principal say's "No, not you Fred" Is this a spoof?

Scream was a horror movie making fun of horror movies. Yes that was meant to be a joke.. Wes craven (the king of horror movies) thought it would be funny (afterall he directed that movie to)
