Did Amelia and the kids cross the border before the shooting accident or after? Because in the begginning of the film, Richard called and started crying while talking to the kids, but the same thing was shown again when the film was almost over, and his wife was being operated. So I'm confused about the timing a little bit. My idea is that the shooting happened first, and then Amelia (the nanny) took the kids to Mexico...
