Just curious about action pack movies??
In most action pack movies you see bullet tear through cars, walls etc.... I just wondering if the director use live ammunition during this process to cause the bullet holes? ( Ex: Live Free or Die Hard, Face Off etc...) And do you know of any other moving where live ammunition was used during the filming other than " The Crow"?

Small charges are planted in certain pattern on materials resembling metal, concrete and so on. These small charges would then be detonated in certain sequence to mimic bullet hits. No actor would ever want to work with live ammo missing them by inches
