Only girl at film camp. Should I still go?
I am really interested in the process of making movies and I want to go to film school. So I signed up for a camp this summer for film making/editing but they called my house and told me that I would be the only girl there! I would get my own room, but I would be at camp for a week with all boys. Don't get me wrong though, boys are great (lol) I'm just not sure about it. So should I still go?

Okay, seriously...I've taught/taken many courses where I have been the only male present. While there was some teasing, it was all good natured for the most part because everyone was there to learn something..not to hook up. On the rare times somebody tried to be a smart a**, they were quickly put in their place. Don't lose out on an opportunity to do something you like simply because it might be a tad uncomfortable for somebody. If we were all that way, we'd miss out on so many opportunities... As you said, you are "really interested in the process of making movies..." Take advantage of the chance to get some extra knowledge/opportunity now while you can! Good Luck!
