I did that once, but not with the lights out. One time while home alone, I was watching a Friday the 13th festival-type thing on HBO, where they ran about 3 of them back to back. The phone rang, and the person on the other end started repeating the lines I'd just heard on the movie. This was freaky enough after it happened several times, but then I began hearing noises coming from the kitchen, and suddenly all the lights went out. I jumped up and ran out of the house, and grabbed a neighbor down the street. When we returned, butcher knives in hand, we found that a screen had been cut out of a kitchen window, and the fuse box was open. The person was gone by that time, and I never found out who it was.
