Have you seen the new harry potter movie?

okay.... it came out yesterday. i am going to go see it this weekend.... is it good? as good as all the previous ones? tell me a little, without spoiling important parts, if possible.

I saw it yesterday and LOVED it. I don't actually read the books, I just watch the movies. :) I personally didn't like the 4th movie that much- I thought the dialog was really awkward, and I blame it mostly on the director. This movie was just as good as the 3rd one. It's much darker than the first two. The new villain is a teacher who comes from the Ministry of Magic (or something like that- like I said, I don't read the books), and she's absolutely the most deliciously wicked villain. I loved hating her. You learn some new stuff about the connection between Harry and Voldemort, and you also get some more background information about Harry's dad and Professor Snape. From what I've been told by people who have read all the books, this movie sets up a more justified reason for Snape to do some not-so-nice things in later books. My only complaint is that I don't think Ron is getting enough good lines in the movie anymore. He used to be so fun, and now he just looks like he's standing around feeling worried. He's still a super loyal friend, and they're slowly building up a romance between Ron and Hermione. Good stuff. Hope you have fun this weekend!
