Can someone please explain the movie "the fountain" to me?
It was so confusing! I didn't get the end at all. Why were there flowers coming out of his body? And what was with that little prickly thing? 10 points to Best Answer!

the tree was leaking the milk of life i guess, but it wasnt the kind of life he was hoping to get out of it. and it was basically, as i saw it, as him escaping to a fantasy story and world because he didnt want to deal with the reality around him, but the way it was filmed and put together did make it slightly hard to get that at first.
