i saw this movie a couple of years back and i really liked it, but i didnt catch its name. the plot is basically a bunch of random people get caught up into this "game" of confuscious like questions, which supposedly make everything clear to the person who answers the last question. i know, pretty bad synopsis, but it has been a few years since ive seen it

oh yeah, one thing i do remember is that at the end this guy is trying to save this girl, but he sees a question, although i forget the question itself, the answer is fire, he looks at the lighter he always carries with him, he gets a somewhat glazed look in his eyes, and he proceeds to beat to death the girl hes trying to save with a baseball bat

I am sorry but the movie name eludes me. It is not the movie everyone is suggesting. It involve a a comic book store a pretty girl into puzles a gaime I believe is called the enigma game and the search for clues around the city strets. The girl gets involved when her friend diappears and the guy in the shop warns her about getting in volved and in the end he finds the last clue and the killer at the same time. I just can't remember the girl right now or I would know the name of the movie because she became famous. The guy I think was a has been at the time. Nether of them was over thirty and it was only a few years back so you are looking for something from 2003, 2004. Add this to your decription and see if it jogs anyone else's memory.
