Was the new Harry Potter movie any good.?

I mean how were the effects and such was it worth going to see?

I was disappointed coz I feel it was unfaithful to the book. JK Rowling's descriptions didn't fit what the result was in the film. Alot of stuff was taken out, and considering it was the shortest movie and longest book, surely they could have fit in a bit of Qudditch? I would have loved to hear the Slytherins and Gryffindors sing "Weasley is our king". However I think fans of the films (and not the books) will love the film - it is more witty and a greater use of special effects, and the movie goes much faster than the others.

i had imagined how everything would look like when i was reading the book and it looked so different in the movie. Also as soon as i got home i started reading the book again! I dont know why but i wish the movie had started with harry lying on the flowerbed =P

harry should have yelled at ron and hermione in the movie (when he gets to grimmauld place) and they should have explained the prophecy. there were so many scenes left out.....like when harry yelled at ron and hermione when he got to grimmauld place....and after sirius died he yelled at dumbledore...who was actually calm in the book, but in the movies the new dumbledore is way too harsh, surely they could have made it a LITTLE more like the book?? why did they have to change it so much?? ! im very disappointed, but im going to the IMAX to see it in 3D, hopefully i will like it more.

The special effects were good, much more than the other HP movies, and if you just like the movies and not the books, you will probably love it. it is also a lot more funny than the other movies. I just didnt like it coz it wasnt very faithful to the book, but in terms of entertainment value, there are many fans ..
