I thinks so cause of during the credits, it showed Starscream leaving earth and he wanted to take Megatron's place. Also Prime took a piece of the "All Spark" from Megatron's dead corpse.

i was hoping there would be a sequel and the sequel should be called: Transformers 2: Beast Wars. Beast Wars is also part of the transformers storyline.
