Has anyone seen the movie Knocked Up and saw the microphones at least 4-5 times? bad edit job? low budget?
It was unbelievable. For a film with pretty good actors in it, I would have expected better editing. Did anyone else catch that?

That's not the fault of the movie...it was a projection error in your theater. The projectionist did not have the movie framed on the screen properly. There is a device on the projector that "centers" the picture. If it's framed too low, you see the boom microphones. If it's framed too high, the tops of peoples' heads are cut off.
If you notice this while watching a movie, let a theater employee know immediately. It can be quickly and easily fixed.
