Why do people have such a big problem with rape scenes in horror movies?!

Why do people have such a big problem with rape scenes in horror movies?
I mean, I'm female, and I don't think it's that bad (in movies, not real life), you see a lot of gore and violence, why does rape seem to cross the line?
Answers:
Because as a society we for some reason cant tell the difference between a movie and reality. We have to blame things people do on movies and on songs instead of holding people responsible. Its the old saying if your friend told you to jump of a bridge would you? these days the kids have control over their parents instead of the other way around. So movies not intended for kids are now seen by kids.
