Anyone seen the new Harry Potter movie?

Did you like it?

I did. I felt it followed the book great and captured most of what made the book so memorable. Of course, there were some major plot points I wish they had kept in, but then, it is an 800 page book, which they wanted to get down to close to 2 hours, so certain things had to go.

Personally, I'd love to see a made for tv mega-series made of the books some day, with no regard to time/length, so that everything from the books could be filmed. Maybe if the books remain popular in ten years time or more, that may happen.

But the new film is worthwhile. Go see it
