Who here thinks that Die Hard are the best action movie ever?
I have watched all of the four Die Hard film and in overall it was incredible. I recently watched the forth movie and it was unbelievably amazing. It was the best action movie I ever seen. Its a lot better than 'The Departed' in my opinion. Bruce Willis is an extremely outstanding actor. I think this movie deserve an Oscar Prize. If you disagree with me, please reason your argument and tell which action move do you think is the best. Otherwise if you are Die Hard fans, please star this question.

I loved LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD but, uh, it's not Academy Award material. Sorry but action films only win for cinematography, if that, and the actors never get recognized for their achievements.
On the other hand, this was an excellent action movie. I hadn't been expecting much since Die Hard 2 and 3 weren't all that great, the original was better; but 4 was every bit as good as the 1st. It had plot and action, woven together in an interesting and well-paced manner.
I think the movie was better for not having the issues with his ex-wife be too important. Sure, he had his relationship issues with his daughter but it was well done.
There was another action movie earlier this year with Nicholas Cage and John Cusack, NEXT, that maybe wasn't quite as good as LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD but it was extremely good, too. The scene with the vehicle (or whatever) going down the side of the mountain was awesome.
On the other hand LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD had several incredible scenes including the ones with the helicopter and the tunnel then with the fighter jet trying to destroy the semi.
Great action film, definitely.
