Have you seen the movie "Appocalypto", what do you think about it?

I really enjoy that move. Every detail on that movie seams to me like reading a book.Even the silence in that movie could tell you a phrase.

I love the part when the young Indian,realizing that it started to rain heavily,started to run hastily in order to save his wife and child imprison inside a deep hole.He says something,looking at the sky,If can still remember it."Spirit of the Forest, give me wings".

That was so beautiful and so close to Indians primitive thinking.I wonder if Mel Gibson sat down with primitives Aborigines Indian , asking them about old legend from the past for creating the beautiful scenarios of the movies.

I just don't think a modern man could write something so natural in essence and so poetic.Mel Gibson must be a very gifted man to find inspiration from the lips of primitive people.Do you know if that movie won many prices?And how much money did it make.I got a feeling that this movie didn't make as much as a prior Mel Gibson movie about "Christ".

I just watched it for the first time last night.

I thought it was great, but I thought it could have done without the European exlporers at the end. I was hoping he would lead those last two guys into that mud pit he almost drowned in. But still great movie.
