ive bought some region 1 dvds and want to play them on my laptop but it wont let me any free downloads to get so i can play them think its some kind of decoder thanks tom
Answers:
Get DVD Decrypter, install it, load the DVD's into the optical drive and when the program window pop up's or you open it, go to Tools -> IFO -> Region Patch -> Region free.
If the program detects that the zone on your laptop is different from Zone 1 then it might prompt you to do all this automatically. This will create a disc image in your chosen destination folder which you can then burn or simply watch on your laptop.
Of course this is hypothetical. You wouldn't actually break the law. I'm sure you're just interested in what option a person in such a situation could have ;)
