I just saw that movie and I had never even heard of it before. So I guess some of this stuff in the movie isn't fact? Or is it? I don't really think it is but I dunno. I went to some Mayan ruins a couple of years ago and I remember our tour guide telling us about the eclipse thing. He said they knew what that was and used it to trick people into thinking they knew what the gods wanted. The movie was a bit gory too. I thought the movie was pretty good anyways. The main guy was freakin awesome. and hot too. Is he in any other movies?
